I'm married with three kids and live in southern California , but I happened across the Merc article while looking at another one (about charter schools).

I'm emailing because I have a single (divorced, no kids) brother who lives in Santa Cruz and works in San Jose . I was wondering if your Hot Single Moms group ever has get-togethers with single men. I am appalled at some of the comments posted in response to the article that are obviously from bitter, ignorant men. But I think your proactive group is amazing. As a mom and woman, I know how important my support group of (mostly) married moms is to me, so bravo to you and your group.

Anyway, I'm not too optimistic that there's a forum for interested men to meet anyone from your group, I just thought I'd ask. And I just wanted to let you know that your group is right on the mark.
